The CSLEA Consumer Protection & Public Safety Foundation Scholarship Application Review Committee is gearing up for this year's interest in scholarships available to CSLEA members, their spouses and children.
Last fall, the foundation awarded ten $1,000 scholarships to assist CSLEA members with the cost of higher education. The foundation received dozens of applications, the highest number ever, according to the scholarship application review committee.
The scholarship program is now in its 16th year and is made possible thanks to generous, tax deductible donations to the non-profit foundation.
"I would like to thank the directors of our foundation and the scholarship application review committee," said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. "It takes dedication and hard work to seek donations and to raise money for this opportunity for our members. A special thanks to those who do donate, as this allows us to help our members as they, or their spouses or their children seek higher education to benefit their future."
