CSLEA Political Action Committee Attends Event for Assembly Speaker Atkins

On June 25, 2014, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association's (CSLEA) Political Action Committee (PAC) attended a reception celebrating the swearing in of the 69th Speaker of the California State Assembly, Toni G. Atkins.

"The event was an opportunity for CSLEA leadership to visit with Speaker Atkins as well as other legislators in a casual, friendly atmosphere," said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. "These events allow us to know state lawmakers on a level outside of business so that when it is time to roll up our sleeves to effort change or improvements for our CSLEA members, a foundation is already set for that type of discussion."
