LAKE PERRIS - Hoping to provide a change of pace for and to update California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members, the CSLEA Member Services team met with State Park Rangers, Peace Officer-Lifeguards and Communication Operators at Lake Perris on March 11, 2015.
"This is a chance for us to bring a little lunch, thank our members for their service to the State of California, and update them on the benefits of membership and contract issues," said CSLEA Field Representative Shelley Bishop.
"From border to border, our CSLEA field representatives are reaching out to our membership," said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. "We are getting some great feedback about our visits and plan to continue with this outreach. Our members want to have conversations with us, particularly as we approach 2016 and we're back at the bargaining table. Visiting with them on their lunch hours seems to work best for many of our members, as they have very busy lives and careers."
