SACRAMENTO - On April 6, 2015, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Secretary Bernadette Gonzalez hosted a new employee orientation for six new Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners (LRE) at the DMV annex in Sacramento.
"It is always nice to greet new LRE's and welcome them to CSLEA," said Gonzalez. "Everything can be so overwhelming and confusing when you're first starting out. I hope by presenting them with who we are and what we're about, I can smooth the transition."
This is an opportunity for the examiners to ask questions and better understand what is available to them.
"DMV LREs perform a vital service in this State," said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. "They are a protective layer between drivers who shouldn't be on the road and the motoring public. We wish the very best to these new LREs and hope that they remain safe as they test drivers from the passenger seat."
Among the offices the new examiners will work from are Sacramento and Napa.
