Join some of the best fraud-fighting, scam-busting, scheme-destroying public safety and consumer protection professionals in the state as they present the most up-to-date information on how to protect yourself against

• schemes targeting senior citizens,

California Statewide Law Enforcement Association Unit-A Vice President and California Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 77 Vice President Kenny Ehrman will emcee the event, in addition to educating attendees about identity theft.

"This is an opportunity for the folks in Davis and Yolo County to take a couple of hours, meet Assemblymember Bill Todd, meet others in their community and get the latest consumer protection advice," said Ehrman.  "Those of us presenting this information fight fraud on a daily basis, and as scams keep changing, we need to get the word out to consumers.   This is also a chance for those in attendance to talk to us one on one for any particular advice or help they may need.  We have a lot of resources."
