As a California Department of Motor Vehicles Investigator for 26 years, Carrillo knows public safety and state service. Now retired, Carrillo continues to work for public safety employees as supervising field representative for CSLEA. His career in law enforcement began in 1974. He has worked as a radio dispatcher, jailer, and city patrolman. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Administration of Justice. He first became involved in CSLEA as an affiliate board member in 1984 and served as CLSEA senior vice president. He works to oversee membership outreach and introduction and supervises six CSLEA field representatives.
