2016 – 2019 Tentative Agreement

UPDATED June 24, 2016:

On June 24, 2016 the Legislative Analyst's Office posted its  analysis of the proposed labor agreement between the state and Bargaining Unit 7 (Protective Services and Public Safety) pursuant to Section 19829.5 of the Government Code. This agreement was submitted to the Legislature on June 15, 2016.

On June 10, 2016, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Board of Directors voted to send the 2016-2019 CSLEA Tentative Agreement (TA) to the membership for a ratification vote. This year membership will cast ballots electronically. 

Below, you will find a click and print Tentative Agreement Summary prepared for you by CSLEA.  You can find the entire TA on Cal HR's website, by clicking here.  

On Monday, CSLEA will email a link to the electronic ballot. The link will also be placed on CSLEA.com. Each full CSLEA member is entitled to cast a vote for, or against, the TA. Electronic voting will take place beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 20th and until 5 p.m. on June 24th. 

CSLEA will announce the result of the ratification ballot as soon as it is tabulated.
