LOS ANGELES – On March 13, 2017, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Representatives Shelley Bishop and John Knight conducted a new employee orientation for seven new California Highway Patrol motor carrier specialists.

“Shelley and John know the strength of our association and we are fortunate that they are passionate about sharing the benefits of joining and being part of a union,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “Meeting with new State employees who are in Bargaining Unit 7, introducing us, and showing them our benefits and services, can help a new employee wade through the start of public employment.  It can be overwhelming at times and we are here to answer questions.”

CSLEA and the Association of Motor Carrier Operation Specialists (AMCOS) welcome its newest members and are here to assist them in their careers.
