SACRAMENTO – The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) welcomed seven new California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners to membership.
On January 22, 2018, CSLEA Membership Services Representatives Marco Castro and George Pina conducted a new employee orientation at DMV Headquarters in Sacramento in which they introduced the new employees to CSLEA and COLRE.
“This is an opportunity to greet our newest members, to discuss our benefits and services and to answer any questions,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Professionals new to state employment can be overwhelmed with new information and new ropes to climb. It helps if we can introduce ourselves and provide information to them. Licensing registration examiners risk their personal safety by testing individuals attempting to acquire a driver license. They get into the cars of strangers and evaluate the driver’s driving skills and knowledge of the rules of the road.”
CSLEA and COLRE would like to thank all DMV licensing registration examiners for their commitment to our safety on the road.
