SACRAMENTO - The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and its affiliate the California Association of Regulatory Investigators and Inspectors (CARII) welcome four new Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) program representatives to their new careers and to CSLEA/CARII membership.
CSLEA Member Services Representatives George Pina and Marco Castro conducted a new employee orientation with them on May 15, 2018. The orientation is an opportunity for CSLEA to meet its newest members and introduce to them CSLEA benefits and services.
“We have employees here at CSLEA who are at our members’ service and we want them to know that,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Introducing CSLEA to our newest members during their time of hire or training is important to us. We never want our members to feel isolated or as if they cannot contact us.”
CSLEA operates two offices for its members, one in Northern California and one in Southern California. Both offices are staffed with CSLEA attorneys whose expertise is in the Bargaining Unit 7 contract with the state and labor laws.
CSLEA offers a basic $15,000 life insurance benefit for its members as well as an exclusive membership discounts program.
“Next year bargaining a new contract will commence and we want to be sure our members are in touch with us about their needs and concerns,” said Barcelona. “We have an amazing membership of law enforcement, public safety and consumer protection professionals and strive to do all we can to represent them.”
