SACRAMENTO – Eight new California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners (LRE) received a warm welcome to membership June 11, 2018 by the president and vice president of the Coalition of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE), part of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA).
“Thank you to COLRE President Enrique Razo and Vice President Tim McCullough for taking time to meet with some of our newest members in Sacramento, to introduce them to their Bargaining Unit,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Entering state service can be overwhelming and it’s important that our members know who we are, how to contact us, and the benefits and services we offer.”
Also attending the new employee orientation was CSLEA Member Services Representative Marco Castro. Castro introduced the new LREs to CSLEA’s basic life insurance plan, the Legal Defense Fund, the CSLEA Exclusive Member Discounts Program, CSLEA scholarship opportunities and the CSLEA website.
“The job of an LRE can be extremely stressful and we want our new members to know that we are here for them. They provide a very important public safety service to all of us by keeping unsafe drivers off the roads,” said Barcelona.
CSLEA would like to welcome new members Andre Williams, Nancy Medina, Rosa Hernandez, Brittany Chavez, Angella Garcia, Cynthia Flores, Rita Jimenez, and Brandon Johnson.
