SACRAMENTO – On April 9, 2019, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Ryan Navarre conducted a new employee orientation at the California Department of Motor Vehicles in Sacramento.

“We welcomed nine new members, all licensing registration examiners,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.   “All of them recognize the benefits of becoming members of their union for all that we have to offer.  My thanks to Ryan Navarre for introducing himself and CSLEA and answering any questions.”

Licensing registration examiners perform DMV drive tests for those acquiring new driver licenses and others required to take a behind-the-wheel test.

“These examiners perform a vial role in our safety out on the roadways, and they put their own safety at risk while testing drivers.  I thank them for their service to public safety.”
