SACRAMENTO- On August 5, 2019 the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the CHP Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) conducted new employee orientations at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento and at the DMV in Sacramento.
“New employee orientations give us the opportunity to meet with new state workers who are in Bargaining Unit 7 and to introduce ourselves, our leadership and our attorneys,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “We not only welcome these new employees to their new careers, we can assist them with the many questions that arise when you’re new to state service.”
CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez met with licensing registration examiners at the DMV in Sacramento and CHP-PSDA Vice President Victor Tovar met with CHP dispatchers training at the academy in West Sacramento.
“We welcome those who signed up for union membership and thank them for recognizing that together we are stronger. In addition to the benefits and services we offer CSLEA members, these professionals have an umbrella of protection should issues arise with their supervisors, department, or the citizens they serve.”
