WEST SACRAMENTO – On May 4, 2020, CHP Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) President Tina Brazil and Vice President Victor Tovar met with dispatchers training at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento.
"Victor and I conducted a new employee orientation to introduce ourselves and our union to some of our newest dispatchers," said Brazil. "Becoming a public safety dispatcher is most rewarding, but it can also be tough and overwhelming. We like to say hello, talk about our experiences, and demonstrate the safety net of support dispatchers have within our union CHP-PSDA and the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA)."
As members of CSLEA, the dispatchers join thousands of law enforcement, public safety and consumer protection professionals united for job protection, improvements in the workplace, legal defense and retirement security.
CHP-PSDA and CSLEA welcome Mariah Gutierrez, Brittany Duvall, Samar Wood, Sara Ray, Jessica Jaramillo, Rhianna Weeks, Hailey Severson and Delanea Parsons.
