RIVERSIDE – On October 19, 2021, ten CHP public safety dispatchers training at the Ben Clark Training Center attended a new employee orientation hosted by CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Secretary-Treasurer Steve Fulton. The orientation gave the dispatchers an opportunity to meet their union representative and learn about the benefits and service of union membership.
The dispatchers will be working in communication centers in Los Angeles, Inland, Fresno and Indio.
“Each of these dispatchers are embarking upon a first responder public safety career and we appreciate their desire to help people who need emergency response and services,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “I welcome these ten professionals to our CSLEA family and also thank Steve Fulton for his commitment, dedication and drive to our members of CHP-PSDA and CSLEA.”
