CSLEA and HPAC Meet New Officers at Metropolitan State Hospital

NORWALK – On December 14, 2021, California State Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Supervising Counsel Dave De La Riva and Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) Site Representative Jose Leal conducted a new employee orientation (NEO) at Metropolitan State Hospital to introduce new state hospital police officers to union representatives and union membership.  Seven hospital police officers attended the introduction.

“A lot can transpire during a hospital police officer’s career and that’s why CSLEA and HPAC meet with the new officers to explain why union membership is so important,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “Union membership means you have a team of professionals on your side, including a team of attorneys and the union’s legal defense fund. We welcome the officers to the CSLEA HPAC family and look forward to serving them as they protect MSH patients, staff, visitors and the surrounding community.”
