CSLEA Speaks to Licensing Registration Examiners Training at DMV

SACRAMENTO – On November 29, 2021, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Ryan Navarre spoke with new Department of Motor Vehicles licensing registration examiners (LREs) to introduce them to CSLEA and the California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE).

Navarre conducted a new employee orientation which gave him the opportunity to discuss union membership, and the benefits and services the union provides.

“Joining your union means you support the work that is being done on your behalf to improve salaries, benefits and working conditions,” said Navarre.  “Essentially you are protecting your livelihood as you have access to the union’s proven legal defense fund and legal representation.  In addition, union members receive a basic $15,000 life insurance benefit, access to group insurance rates, an exclusive member discounts program, scholarship opportunities and a vote on contract ratification.”

CSLEA welcomes the LREs to the unit.   Joining the union is easy with online membership applications.  Any one with questions regarding union membership should contact CSLEA.
