WEST SACRAMENTO- On May 2, 2022, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association welcomed five new CHP dispatchers to union membership.
“CHP-PSDA Vice President Victor Tovar and I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet dispatchers who are currently training at the academy to work at the Orange County, Inland and Monterey communications centers. Their work is an important part of public and officer safety and we want to be sure they have the benefits, services, support and protection of union membership,” said CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez.
Perez and Tovar often conduct new employee orientations at the CHP academy in West Sacramento to personally introduce themselves as a point of contact, share the experiences of dispatchers who have come to rely on and value the benefits of union membership, and to answer questions.
CSLEA and CHP-PSDA welcome their newest members and stand ready to serve and assist them.
