CSLEA & CHP-PSDA Welcome New Dispatchers to Union Membership

RIVERSIDE – On January 17, 2023, CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Secretary/Treasurer Steve Fulton and California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Jim Vitko had the opportunity to meet with 15 dispatchers training at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside.

“This was a great group of individuals looking forward to beginning their careers as public safety dispatchers with the CHP and it was great being able to meet them, speak to them about the benefits of union membership and having that safety net available to them,” said Vitko.  “They have a remarkable support system within CHP-PSDA and CSLEA and I thank Steve Fulton for being a positive force our public safety dispatcher members.”

Fourteen of the dispatchers recognized the importance of supporting their union and receiving membership benefits including a free basic $15,000 life insurance benefit.  The dispatchers are assigned to various CHP communications centers throughout California.

CSLEA and CHP-PSDA welcome their newest members and look forward to working on their behalf.
