Dispatchers Training at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento Meet Union Representatives

WEST SACRAMENTO – On March 27, 2023, 14 dispatchers training at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento met with CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Vice President Victor Tovar and California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Andrea Perez to learn more about the union that represents their job classification and the benefits and services associated with union membership.

“We spent time speaking with dispatchers who will be working in  communication centers in Sacramento, Chico, Bishop, Orange County, Los Angeles and Vallejo,” said Perez.  “It is such a great opportunity for Victor and me to  introduce ourselves, describe how union membership assists dispatchers in what is a very demanding job, and answer questions.”

CHP-PSDA and CSLEA welcomes its newest members to union membership and looks forward to assisting them.
