SAN DIEGO – Congratulations to California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI) Members Storm Huie and Nancy Pedraza on their impressive gold medal wins at the United States Police and Fire Championships in San Diego on June 20, 2026.
“Both Nancy and I are thankful for the opportunity to compete at the 2026 US Police and Fire Championships (USPFC). Seeing all of the other competitors produce great results shows that maintaining a high-level physical fitness is very important to this profession. We appreciate CACI supporting our athletic efforts by sponsoring our entry fees into this year’s USPFC competition. We both look forward to competing at the 2027 USPFC competition,” said Huie.

Storm Huie – CA Lottery Investigator (CACI)
- Competed in the 100-meter run and 4×100-meter relay for the men’s 40 to 44 age group
- 100 meter run result was 11.26 for a gold medal – this 100m result broke a men’s 40-44 age group record that has stood since 2004
- 4x100m relay result was 48.16 for a gold medal
Nancy Pedraza – CA Lottery Investigator (CACI)
- Competed in the 100-meter run, long jump, and triple jump for the women’s 45 to 49 age group
- 100-meter run result was 19.57 for a gold medal
- Long jump result was 10 feet 9.25 inches for a gold medal
- Triple jump result was 20 feet 3.5 inches for a gold medal
