HOLLYWOOD – On August 27, 2026, California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) President Enrique Razo and COLRE Region 5 Director David Rodriguez visited the Hollywood Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office. The visit was prompted by concerns expressed by licensing registration examiner-union members over possible conflicts with the MOU between the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the State.

Enrique and Rodriguez met with examiners, answered questions, and consulted with CSLEA Senior Counsel Kja Harper-Gopaul for a positive outcome.

“Our CSLEA-COLRE members in Hollywood work at one of the busiest offices in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and we wanted to assure them their concerns were heard and addressed,” said Razo.  “We thank our union members for their involvement and for bringing their concerns to us.  It was great meeting with everyone and we thank them for their service in keeping our roads safe by testing the driving skills and roadway knowledge of new and currently licensed drivers.”
