MONTEREY – Congratulations to California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and Resource Protection Peace Officers Association (RPPOA) Member Byron Trunnell, who, on January 9, 2018, was recognized as California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Wildlife Officer of the Year!
As stated on CDFW’s Facebook page, “Trunnell patrols in the Sacramento area and has been a wildlife officer for 18 years. He was presented with the award at CDFW’s Advanced Officer Awards Training in Monterey.”
