CSLEA has extended the deadline for the submission of collective bargaining proposals through 2/28/13. Unit 7 members who desire to submit a proposal for consideration by the CSLEA Negotiations Committee should complete the proposal form and submit it and any supporting information via email: kclark@cslea.com or fax 916-889-8289.
In order to have success in upcoming bargaining, CSLEA needs the input from all members of the unit it represents. Unfortunately, it was evident in both the last round of negotiations as well as during the period in which the contract has been in effect, Unit 7 members who are within the RPPOA Affiliate have been impacted by the lack of input to CSLEA. The CSLEA Negotiations Committee will do its best to look out for the interests of those who are without a voice on the CSLEA Board of Directors to the best of its ability.
The CSLEA Negotiations Committee will begin reviewing proposals in early March and anticipate the first round of bargaining to occur later in the month.
