The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) has long been proud of the Department of Justice (DOJ) special agents it represents and extends a big congratulations to those agents who showed Sacramento Bee Senior Editor Dan Morain the work they do on a daily and nightly basis to take guns away from people who have lost their right to possess them.
“First we want to thank Mr. Morain for his interest in the work our agents do and their positive impact on public safety and gun violence,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Second, our DOJ agents did a fantastic job demonstrating how many firearms are in the wrong hands, in the hands of people who lost their right to possess them because of past crimes or mental issues. We truly appreciate the work they do.”
The senior editor outlined the work of 33 Bureau of Firearms agents and concluded the nation’s leaders ought to take notice of their work. It might be key in preventing lives from being cut short by gun violence.
Let Morain take you on his “ride-along” with these special agents by reading Dan Morain: Gun roundup saves lives. It is an informative and dynamite read.
