“POC/AFSCME’s misguided efforts against your Association are fueled by greed and self-interest and are not in the best effort of the entire bargaining unit.” – Floyd R. Hayhurst, President, Southern California Alliance Of Law Enforcement
CSLEA continues to receive letters of support from law enforcement associations deploring the attempt by POC & AFSCME to decertify the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association.
The most recent letter from the president of the Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement (SCALE) denounces “any and all membership raiding and decertification efforts against CSLEA.”
“I thank Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement President Floyd Hayhurst and all the law enforcement associations in support of CSLEA for recognizing the decertification attempt for what it is, a money grab by AFSCME that weakens the labor movement,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.
Also rejecting the POC/AFSCME decertification attempt and in support of CSLEA are: PORAC , OC COPS and the Los Angeles Police Protective League
