On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the CSLEA Consumer Fraud and Public Safety Foundation will partner with the Office of the State Bar, the California Bureau of Real Estate and several other agencies, at a town hall meeting hosted by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez. The event, to be held in Chula Vista, will focus on, among other things, consumer fraud.
CSLEA is an excellent consumer protection resource in many fields including identity theft, unlicensed vehicle sales and unlicensed vehicle repairs. Previous town meetings that CSLEA has participated in this year have drawn large crowds of senior citizens eager to learn how to protect themselves and their life-savings.
“Our CSLEA members and leaders are experts in public safety and consumer protection,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “I want to thank CSLEA Unit A Vice President Kenneth Ehrman for leading the way on this and all those who are volunteering their time and efforts to help with these very important, very valuable town hall meetings. The feedback has been incredibly positive.”
Saturday’s Town Hall meeting will be held at the Chula Vista Public Library, Civic Center Branch at 365 F Street, Chula Vista, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
