On Friday, August 8, 2014, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona announced the CSLEA endorsement of Autumn Burke, Democrat Candidate for Assembly District 62 which includes Marina Del Rey, Hawthorne, El Segundo, Gardena and Inglewood.

“As the owner of a consulting firm, Autumn Burke has a good working knowledge of the business climate in California and seeks to improve it,” said Barcelona.  “She understands the importance of a partnership between government and businesses to ensure jobs and to provide  adequate tax revenues.”

CSLEA Political Action Committee members met with Burke to discuss issues that impact CSLEA’s  nearly 7,000 law enforcement, public safety and consumer protection professionals who work for the State of California.

“In addition to jobs, we also discussed employee health benefits as they pertain to our members now and in the years ahead,” said Barcelona.
