On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona announced the endorsement of Connie Leyva, Democrat Candidate for State Senate District 20.
“We spoke with Connie Leyva about issues that our important to our law enforcement, public safety and consumer protection members,” said Barcelona. “As the president of the California State Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and as president of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1428, Leyva gained an absolute understanding of the needs of workers.
