SACRAMENTO – On January 5, 2015, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Board of Directors attended a reception at the State Capitol for the swearing in of Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom.

“It was an honor for us to share in this event, along with Lt. Governor Newsom’s family, friends, legislators, and other supporters,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “I have had the opportunity to meet with Lt. Governor Newsom in the past to discuss issues that are important to our CSLEA members. We have shared open and honest conversations about the working class, public safety and pensions. I wish him the very best in his new term as Lt. Governor.”
