LA JOLLA- On March 20-21, 2015, five California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) board members attended the 2015 Pro Tem Cup in support of the California Democratic Party.
The Pro Tem Cup is an annual golfing event in La Jolla and raises money to support the California Democratic Party.
“This is an opportunity for a few of our directors on the CSLEA board to spend valuable time with Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon, as well as other legislators in an atmosphere outside of legislators’ offices and the halls at the State Capitol, ” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Fostering a connection with our lawmakers, building a rapport, really comes into play when working at the Capitol on legislation or bargaining issues for the public safety and consumer protection professionals CSLEA represents.”
In attendance for CSLEA were: CFO & California Association of Law Enforcement Employees (CALEE) President Ricardo Sanchez; Senior Vice President and CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) President Tina Brazil; Unit A Vice President and Association of Motor Vehicle Investigators of California (AMVIC) President Kenny Ehrman; Board Member and California Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents (CABCA) President Kevin Highbaugh; and Board Member and California Association of Regulatory Investigators and Inspectors (CARII) President Tom Ineichen.
