The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA)is in strong support of Senator Kathleen Galgiani’s Senate Concurrent Resolution 20 which would designate May 4, 2015 as “California Peace Officers’ Memorial Day”
“I have sent a letter to Senator Galgiani, on behalf of our nearly 7,000 CSLEA members, announcing our support of SCR 20,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “We must never forget the peace officers in California who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving and protecting the citizens in their communities. Losing one peace officer is losing one peace officer too many, unfortunately California has lost a high number of heroes of late. We very much appreciate Senator Galgiani’s efforts to recognize and honor them.”
