PORTERVILLE – On August 5, 2015, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) representatives met with members for lunch at the Porterville Developmental Center.
“It is important for us to visit our members at a time and place that is convenient to them,” said CSLEA Supervising Member Services Representative Richard Carrillo. “I want our members to know about our services, how reachable we really are, and why it is important to maintain open and constant communication.”
Approximately 45 members from several CSLEA affiliate associations attended the BBQ lunch. In attendance from CSLEA were, CSLEA Supervising Member Services Representative Richard Carrillo, California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI) Vice President Dennis Maffei, Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) Board Member Robert Johnson, California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) President Bernadette Gonzalez and CSLEA Supervising Counsel Dave De La Riva.
“I thank each of our members who invested the time to visit with us and inform us of the issues they have in the workplace,” said Carrillo. “This can only better prepare us for contract negotiations next Spring.”
