SACRAMENTO- On September 22, 2015, San Bernardino County District Attorney and 2018 California Attorney General-hopeful Michael Ramos visited California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) headquarters to meet with CSLEA President Alan Barcelona, Chief Financial Officer Ricardo Sanchez, Chief Counsel Kasey Clark and Legislative Advocate Shane LaVigne.
“It is always great to visit with District Attorney Ramos,” said Barcelona. “He respects the dedication and courage of public safety officers and is part of a group effort exploring a death penalty reform initiative for the November 2016 ballot.”
Ramos last visited CSLEA headquarters on August 21, 2015 with District Attorneys Anne Marie Schubert (Sacramento County), Gilbert Otero (Imperial County), Scott Owens (Placer County) and Amanda Hopper (Sutter County) to discuss future steps for death penalty reform.
In addition to discussing death penalty reform during his most recent visit to CSLEA, Ramos also spoke to CSLEA leadership about his run for California Attorney General 2018.
