SACRAMENTO – On October 14, 2015, Republican Candidate for Assembly District 6 Cristi Nelson visited California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) headquarters to meet with CSLEA President Alan Barcelona and Legislative Advocate Shane LaVigne.
“It was a pleasure to meet Cristi and to learn a little more about her positions on public safety, the working class and the future of health benefits and retirement security,” said Barcelona. “She comes from a law enforcement family, has a degree in criminal justice, a law degree and is ready to defend public pensions. It was nice to have a conversation with her about issues that are near and dear to our CSLEA members.”
Nelson is a lifelong resident of Northern California and the daughter of a Special Agent Supervisor with the California Department of Justice. She is currently a member of the Placer County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Mounted Team.
The 6th Assembly District includes portions Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado Counties.
