On Monday, December 15, 2014, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Commissioner Joe Farrow attended the CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association’s (CHP-PSDA) Board of Directors meeting in Sacramento to express his pride in CHP public safety dispatchers and public safety operators for their role in earning accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc (CALEA).
“CHP-PSDA and Commissioner Farrow recognize that a CALEA accreditation for our communications operations is a huge accomplishment and shines a very bright spotlight on the CHP for having remarkable public safety dispatchers and operators who are highly trained and perform their duties with a standard of excellence,” said Tina Brazil, CHP-PSDA president and senior vice president of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA). “We thank Commissioner Farrow for attending our meeting and personally expressing how proud he is of all our dispatchers, operators and supervisors for making the accreditation happen.”
