ATASCADERO – On December 2, 2015, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) representatives met with members for lunch at Atascadero State Hospital.
“Our goal was to talk to members about contract proposals, update membership records, and listen to their concerns about any work related issues,” said CSLEA Supervising Member Services Representative Richard Carrillo. “I want our members to know about our services, how reachable we really are, and why it is important to maintain open and constant communication.”
Approximately 35 hospital police officers and communications operators attended the BBQ lunch. In attendance from CSLEA were Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) President Luis Jimenez, and Member Services Representatives John Knight, Shelley Bishop, and Chris Scrimiger.
“My sincere thanks to each of our members who took time to visit with us and speak to us about the issues they have in their workplace,” said Carrillo. “It’s important to keep an open dialogue and sometimes the best way to do that is to visit our members for lunch where they work. It’s more convenient for a lot of them.”
