SACRAMENTO – In an effort to keep California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members involved in 2016, CSLEA member services representatives visited the Department of Justice, Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigative Services building on Broadway to update Criminal ID Specialists and Field Representatives.
“This was a small group, but we had the opportunity to talk about contract proposals, retirement benefits, long term care, long term disability, retirement membership and future meetings,” said CSLEA Member Services Representative George Pina.
Pina and Member Services Representative Marco Castro met with the members over lunch on January 13, 2016.
“We know how important it is for us to visit our members at their worksites, over lunch, so that we are not taking time away from their families to bring them up to speed on CSLEA’s efforts on their behalf and the benefits and services we have for our members,” added Pina. “I want to thank those in attendance and I look forward to continuing our visits with our members. It’s boots on the ground, finding out their needs, their questions and how we can best assist them.”
