SACRAMENTO – In an effort to reach out to members of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and its affiliate, California Association of Regulatory Investigators and Inspectors (CARII) within the California Board of Registered Nursing, CSLEA representatives and CARII President Tom Ineichen met with a group of nine at the Department of Consumer Affairs in Sacramento.
“As a member of the CSLEA Negotiations Team and vice president of CSLEA Unit B, I wanted to meet with our membership, reach out to those who aren’t taking advantage of full membership, talk about the upcoming negotiations with the state, bargaining proposals, job conditions and legal representation,” said Ineichen. “There is no substitute for sitting together in one room, face to face and discussing issues and answering questions. “
Also present at the outreach on February 16, 2016 was CSLEA Member Services Representatives George Pina and Marco Castro.
“I was able to put a face to CSLEA and discuss our benefits and services,” said Pina. “Our members are so busy during their work days and at home, that sometimes this information gets overlooked. It’s nice that we can bring it to them over lunch and let them know what’s available to them.”
For those interested, CSLEA bargaining proposal forms can be found here and must be submitted by February 28, 2016.
