The CSLEA Consumer Protection & Public Safety (CPPS) Foundation Scholarship Application Review Committee is proud to announce it is now accepting applications for scholarships which are available to CSLEA members, their spouses and children.
Last fall, the foundation awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to assist CSLEA members with the cost of higher education, and this year, the plan is to do the same.
“We know that families struggle with college loans and the high cost of higher education and that every little bit helps,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Our Consumer Protection and Public Safety Foundation committee members work year-round to make this scholarship opportunity happen and we are proud to offer this to our members.”
The scholarship program is now in its 19th year and is made possible thanks to generous, tax deductible donations to the non-profit CPPS Foundation.
The CSLEA CPPS Foundation Scholarship application packet is available for download here. Completed applications must be postmarked by May 27, 2016.
