With 35 years of State service, 12 of them as a Peace Officer, Diane Plaza brings a wealth of enforcement knowledge to the State of California and to her current job as an Investigator with the Investigations Branch of the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.
Investigator Plaza started her career with the State in 1980 as an Office Assistant and in 1999 became a Peace Officer. She has worked for the Secretary of State; Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division and Equal Employment Opportunity office; Department of Corporations; Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and the Department of Business Oversight.
Investigator Plaza became a member of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) in 2007 and in 2012 became a board member of the CSLEA affiliate, California Association of Fraud Investigators (CAFI) and a CSLEA-CAFI Site Representative.
