SACRAMENTO – On March 2, 2016, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona and the CSLEA Political Action Committee (PAC) announced the endorsement of Senator Richard Roth for re-election in the 31st Senate District.
“We appreciate Senator Roth’s efforts to increase protections for those injured in the line of duty and for helping his local communities that have struggled financially due to realignment,” said Barcelona.
Major General Roth retired from the Air Force in 2007 after 32 years of service. During his career in the Air Force, he was awarded numerous awards and decorations, including the Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
