RIVERSIDE – When new state employees represented by the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA-Bargaining Unit 7) start their jobs, they often have questions about the association responsible for negotiating their contracts, assisting them with their careers, and the benefits and services provided. That’s why CSLEA Member Services Field Representative Shelley Bishop stopped by to visit six new special investigators at the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF) in Riverside on April 25, 2016.
“This is a great group of people. I truly enjoyed meeting with them, personally extending a warm welcome to CSLEA, and providing an orientation to our benefits and services,” said Bishop. “The CSLEA membership services team is often the first contact our new members have with CSLEA and we want it to be a pleasant hello and we want to answer any questions they may have.”
So pleasant was the hello, CSLEA Member and SCIF Investigator Tracye Pierson wrote: “Shelley met with our staff today…she was wonderful, informative and very helpful…Thanks again for your time and the attention you’ve given to us as new members !”
CSLEA would like welcome Pierson along with Investigators Yvette Kyle, Phillis Shorts, Margarita Perez, Marisa Martinez and Sarah Rockett.
