During the first week of April, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Field Representative Shelley Bishop personally extended a warm welcome to seven new CSLEA members including Metropolitan State Hospital Communications Operators Daniel Castro Corey, Maha Lampkin, and Allyson Sherwood, Police Officers Jamie Ortiz and Travis Sawyer and Investigator Patricia Escalera, along with Riverside Department of Motor Vehicles Licensing Registration Examiner Cesar Tello.
“It is such a pleasure to meet our newest members, answer their questions, and to let them know what we are all about and that we are always here for them,” said Bishop. “We want to be there, right alongside them in their careers.”
Bishop also visited with current members, investigators at the Department of Insurance in Rancho Cucumonga and investigators at Patton State Hospital.
“This is a chance for me to update our valued members on contract negotiations and to answer their questions regarding services and benefits,” said Bishop. “I met with more than a dozen members with the Department of Insurance and want to thank CACI’s James Potts for talking about negotiations and a special thanks to Eddie Asencio for his assistance in organizing the meeting.”
Bishop’s meeting with members at Patton State Hospital included Members Eric Loo, Victor Gil, Jimmie Jimenez, Donald Sumner, Kathryn Jackson and Laura Young.
