BARSTOW –  Impressed does not even begin to describe how California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Field Representative Shelley Bishop felt as she witnessed the work of CHP Public Safety Dispatchers in Barstow on May 19, 2016.

“I went to Barstow CHP to check in with our  dispatchers and update them on our benefits and services and to see if they had any association needs or questions and I walked away with a tremendous amount of admiration for their amazing skills dealing with the public,” said Bishop.   “It was a good meeting with a great group.”

Attending the meeting were  Joey Serrano, Bryce Kaiser, Brande Durgan, Monica Zillner, Charlene Ryan and Louise Evans.

Bishop updated the group on the bargaining process, CSLEA’s Exclusive Member Discounts program, LDF,  supplemental insurance plans,  and their $15,000 basic life insurance benefit.   She also visited with CHP dispatchers at El Centro CHP on May 17th.
