SACRAMENTO – California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) member services representatives spent the last week of June visiting California State Parks seasonal lifeguards who are beginning their lifesaving duties up and down the coast of California this summer.
“Given the sheer nature of their jobs, it’s important that we educate seasonal lifeguards about the need for legal protection and the support of CSLEA,” said Supervising Member Services Field Representative Richard Carrillo. “We have CSLEA reps explaining the importance of signing up for membership, how easy it is to do online, and describing the seasonal membership that is available.”
The visits included lifeguards at
- Lake Perris on June 19th,
- San Clemente on June 25th
- Huntington Beach on June 26th
- Carlsbad on June 29th
- Leo Carrillo on June 30th
