BENICIA – In an effort to keep California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members updated and to meet their needs, CSLEA membership representatives routinely travel to worksites to hold discussions and answer questions.
“We can email, we can talk on the phone – but there is no replacing sitting down in the same room and talking to our members at a time that is convenient to them,” said CSLEA Member Services Representative George Pina.
Pina, along with Member Services Representatives Marco Castro and Jim Laughlin met with 20 CSLEA members at the Department of Insurance on August 24, 2016 as part of their ongoing outreach effort. Joining them were CSLEA affiliate board members Bruce Todd and Eddie Asencio.
“We enjoyed meeting with everyone and it looks like we will meet with them again, soon, as they are requesting a CSLEA presentation on POBR, the Peace Officer Bill of Rights,” added Pina.
