SACRAMENTO – One day after California lawmakers returned from summer break, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona met with Senate President pro Tem Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles), Assemblymember Jose Medina (D-Riverside) and Assemblymember Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale).
“We work year-round to establish, build and maintain a good rapport with legislators who can, do and are willing to work with us on issues that impact our members,” sad Barcelona. “You can’t walk into a stranger’s office and ask for something. Because CSLEA meets with lawmakers on a regular basis, we are right at home at the Capitol and can work to get things done.”
On the calendar – CSLEA President Barcelona has meetings with legislators set through next week.
