Bargaining Unit 7 employees should have received check(s) for the retroactive General Salary Increase and applicable Special Salary Adjustments. The new salary ranges, as well as increases in education and longevity incentives, inclusion of fitness pay in base salary, and elimination of dependent vesting will be reflected in the October pay period pay in warrants issued November 1, 2016.
SACRAMENTO – On September 14, 2016, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) received the following information from CalHR Deputy Director Pam Manwiller regarding salary increases for Bargaining Unit 7 employees:
Bargaining Unit 7 pay increases will be in the pay issued November 1, 2016 and the retroactive pay dating back to July 1, 2016 will be issued as a separate payment (check) sometime prior to November 1, 2016.
Governor Jerry Brown finalized the Bargaining Unit 7 contract yesterday by signing into law, Assembly Bill 1627 – the Memorandum of Understanding between the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Bargaining Unit 7 and the State.
CSLEA membership ratified the 2016-2019 Tentative Agreement June 24, 2016. The legislature passed AB 1627 in August and the bill was delivered to the Governor on September 2, 2016.
