SACRAMENTO – On November 17, 2016, 18 California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members attended a basic site representation class held by CSLEA Senior Counsel Jim Vitko in the CSLEA Southern Office in Huntington Beach and by CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez at CSLEA Headquarters in Sacramento.
“I had an opportunity to briefly meet the eight members who received training at CSLEA headquarters,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “It is such a pleasure to see our members taking a lead to become active in their workplace on behalf of their rights and the rights of their co-workers, and it all starts with learning from our attorneys how they can be working problem solvers with their supervisors.”
Some of members who received basic site representation training work at the Department of State Hospitals, California Highway Patrol, Alcoholic Beverage Control, Department of Justice, Department of Motor Vehicles, and State Parks.
